I just completed reading all my RSS feeds that I set up. This is really cool, but I'm a little worried that I may watch my TV even less than I already do! Not really a problem. I usually watch a lot of news and history anyway and I will be seeing headlines even faster than ever before. I am also going to take advantage of the feeds for EBAY searches too!
Now I am thinking of getting a "smartphone" as soon as my current contract expires.
I am happy to be learning about all this technology, and will use the RSS feeds. It took about an hour to set up.
I found my feeds by looking for the symbol on my favorite sites but also gleaned a feed from a "twitter" on "Free Spirits" blog.

Web 2.0
Wow! I never even heard of Web 2.0 before and its so obvious its the platform for so many sites I visit when I web surf. I hope to learn more about all the technology I can use on a daily basis both at work and for personal enjoyment.
I am not sure that I will explore "facebook" at this time, but I may do so in the future just for family things. I don't see myself needing to open up my personal life to my coworkers!
I do see the advantages for medical professionals to have data and informaton that is constantly changing and updated as an invaluable tool that I hope to utilize.
The website WayBack Machine I have added to my favorites, I will use that one for sure.
Seeing how the HealthPartners website developed over the years shows how the Web 2.0 has changed our site.
It was easy for me to spend a couple hours on this assignment.
